About
Rooted in the heart of South Devon, Goudard Stonework creates enduring landscapes that honour the land and the people who live with it. Nicolas Goudard trained in the dry stone traditions of southern Burgundy, bringing a French master's precision and a deep respect for natural materials to every commission.
The practice combines heritage craft with ecological design across private gardens, heritage estates and listed properties — guided by the conviction that stone, water and landscape are one living system. No two commissions are the same. Every piece is placed with care.
“It's not just about structure — it's about story. We shape stone and water features to belong; not just to the land, but to your way of life.”— Nicolas Goudard, founder
